In this first Webin9 the speakers were João Duque, full professor at ISEG, columnist at several national newspapers and commentator at SIC Notícias; Carlos Zorrinho, full professor at the University of Évora and MEP and João Costa Pinto, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fundação Oriente and Member of the Board of Directors of FUTURO SGPS and moderated by Pedro Monjardino, Ai9 associate and administrator from the Stanley Ho Foundation.
In the first part, the main issue was the digital economy, issues such as the digitization of GDP, the growth of e-commerce, reconfiguration of jobs and the problems and solutions associated with credit lines were addressed.
In the second part, the central issue is the green economy, with the goals of the European Ecological Pact, Green Hydrogen and the economic impact of these issues being the theme.
In the third part, our speakers discuss the question of economic differences between northern and southern European countries and answer questions from the public.
